The Institute for Advanced Education and Research is an organization established to promote the educational reform of NCU on a university-wide basis.
The institute assumes the responsibility for liberal arts education and university-wide language education from planning and drafting to implementation on one hand, and controls the university-wide efforts that lead to the assurance of education quality, such as educational IR (institutional research, or efforts to support on-campus decision making and improvement activities by collecting and analyzing various information concerning university education) and FD (faculty development, or activities to address organizational research, training, etc. for the purpose of improving education method, etc.).
